• Local Storage: All retrieved MOT data and vehicle information is stored locally on your device
• Expiry Reminders: MOT expiry dates are used to schedule local notification reminders
• History Tracking: MOT test history is displayed and cached locally for offline access
• License Plate Scanning: Camera access is used only for reading vehicle registration numbers
• Quick Access: Recently checked vehicles are saved for convenient re-checking

Local Device Storage

• AsyncStorage: All user data stored locally using React Native's secure AsyncStorage
• No Cloud Storage: No remote servers or cloud storage for personal vehicle data

• Automatic Cleanup: Data is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app

Government Data Access

• HTTPS Encryption: Registration numbers transmitted securely to DVSA MOT API over encrypted connection
